CCE is one of the few centers globally which has the potential to contribute to the full range of cancer control activities.

1. Building up a cancer registry network.
2. Provide Training and initial support to registries in Southeast Asia.
3. Conduct large scale studies to identify causes of cancer.
4. Provide training and initial support to centers to conduct large-scale studies.
5. Develop Low-cost technologies for early detection and screening of common cancer.
6. Provide training and supports to Government agencies to launch screening program.
7. Develop skilled manpower for epidemiological research and Cancer Control activities.
